I loved having the door open at night listening to the water. The newly renovated bathrooms are no exception—featuring chic countertops, relaxing soaker tubs, and luxurious fixtures that make you feel pampered during your stay.

The Shore: Dining with a View

A highlight of our stay at The Jordan was the exceptional dining experience at The Shore, the hotel’s attached renovated restaurant, located just steps from the water’s edge. The restaurant offers a dining experience that is as breathtaking as the views outside, with expansive windows framing a sweeping view of the lake and beyond. You can even catch a glimpse of Toronto’s skyline on the clearest of days—just one more reason why The Shore stands out as one of the best dining spots in the region.

The ambiance is sophisticated yet relaxed, with modern art and decor, soft lighting, contemporary décor, the expansive bar as well as live music on select evenings. with a casual yet refined atmosphere. We arrived just in time to witness a stunning sunset over the lake, we could see the CN tower and some shimmering buildings all the way across the lake in Toronto! Turning the sky into a canvas of golds, pinks, and blues—perfectly complementing our meal.

The culinary experience at *The Shore* is nothing short of extraordinary. The menu is a curated collection of dishes that expertly highlight the region's bounty, using locally sourced ingredients on seasonal dishes while infusing global flavors for a delightful culinary journey. We loved the Korean chicken and the pesto pizza with balsamic glaze and local peaches! From the fresh seafood to the farm-to-table offerings, every dish was thoughtfully prepared, showcasing a balance of freshness, creativity, and a deep respect for the land. Each bite felt like an exploration of Niagara itself—a fusion of the local terroir and international influences.

We started with the Korean chicken, bursting with flavour. The main course—chicken and a pan-seared steak—both perfectly executed, with a crispy exterior and tender, interior that melted in our mouths. The Local peach pizza and the unique drinks including the spicy margarita had us hooked! For dessert, we savoured a decadent chocolate cake, rich but not overwhelming, a perfect ending to an unforgettable meal.

The restaurant’s beverage menu is equally impressive, featuring a selection of local wines from Niagara’s famed vineyards and a tasting room!. If you’re a wine lover, you’re in for a treat. The knowledgeable staff is always ready to offer recommendations, whether you're pairing a glass of Chardonnay with your seafood or enjoying a glass of bold red wine to complement a rich dish.

Beyond the rooms and the restaurant, The Jordan offers an array of amenities that make it a perfect place to unwind and recharge. The indoor heated pool is a tranquil oasis where guests can take a dip while still enjoying the ability to jet off on a local wine tour!. Whether you’re taking a morning swim before breakfast and we recommend the local cafe the Revalee brunch cafe in nearby Vineland or relaxing after a day of wine tasting, The perfectly blue pool is a welcome retreat.

The hotel’s prime location also means that you’re just moments away from some of Niagara’s most famous wineries, charming shops, and natural beauty. After indulging in a memorable meal at The Shore, you can stroll through the surrounding village of Jordan, where quaint boutiques and local markets await. Or, if you’re in the mood for adventure, explore the nearby Niagara Escarpment for hiking trails and scenic views. It's located near Niagara falls and shopping and so much more. Even dog friendly wineries and as a dog mom this warmed my heart!
